Setting And Meeting Goals For Your Practice

GOAL-SETTING is an important part of growing your practice. You might luck into success by winging it, but why take that chance? You’ll stack the deck much more effectively in your favor by making a clear plan for where you want your practice to be after a certain amount of time.

Mid-Year Analysis

Mid-year analysis simply enables you to adjust the sails for the second half of the year. Were your goals set realistically to begin with? As we network and share our unique approaches to working with our clients the
continuous thread throughout our conversations is to impart to the client the importance of systems for consistency and how to measure the results in the dental office. So how’s your year measuring up? It’s important to know whether you are hitting benchmarks in these seven areas:

1. Dr. Production per day

2. Hygiene production per day

3. Collections percentage

4. Case acceptance on new patients and patients of record

5. Patient retention

6. Number of new patients and their new patient value

7. Overhead

If you are short of your goals in any of these areas, what will you do differently?

Go Forth And Conquer!

Effective goal setting is no easy task. Jamison Consulting is committed to providing you with the knowledge and tools you need to identify areas of focus that, if improved, will take your business to the next level. Here is an amazing tool – a “cookbook”  to evaluate your systems and determine what you may be able to correct. It’s good stuff! Use it during your monthly numbers review. If you don’t know where to start, consider that consultants are often the objective party that can help you get things done. If you have been frustrated by doing the same thing and getting the same result, I can help your dental team find what motivates them to do things differently and guide them through a process of small adjustments that will enable you to go from stress to success!

This summer I am offering a special 2 day limited consultation. Buy one, get one free. The first day is for the purpose of analysis of your practice and the second day is for a customized training program presented for your team to get you going in the right direction. Offer expires August 31, 2017 so call today and let’s get started.
